Who we are

We’re Vector Communications, the builder and operator of VectorFibre, the most accessible fibre-optic network in Auckland. This is complemented by our Wellington network with seamless high-speed connectivity between the two cities. Our network is unencumbered by legacy technology or layers of traditional telco-management, so you can get capacity and services that extend right to the Ethernet socket in your server room.

From our Newmarket offices, our team of 50 or so oversees the build, maintenance and operation of our network. Our technical teams, engineers and account managers work directly with clients and customers to solve problems and identify opportunities. This direct contact and flexibility means we can be implementing world-class fibre-optic solutions when larger players are still drawing up their engagement plan.

Vector Communications is the fibre-optic network division of Vector, one of the largest owners and managers of multi-network infrastructure in New Zealand. Which is handy for us, because that gives us access to huge economies of scale when we’re building our fibre network.
