Vector Communications holds Network Operator status under the Telecommunications Act and is already a successful open-access network provider with a proven track record in designing, building and maintaining fibre optic networks.

Vector Communications’ role is to deploy, own, manage and maintain the network and required infrastructure to deliver the service on an open-access basis to the community.

• Provide gigabit broadband access to North Shore schools.
• Facilitate the provision of affordable high speed broadband access to communities, councils and businesses in Auckland, within the parameters of a commercially and sustainable public/private partnership.
